What a gem! I stumbled upon this charming place during a stroll in town, and I can wholeheartedly say it was one of the best discoveries I’ve made. Walking inside, I was immediately struck by the quaint decor and the friendly smiles from the staff. The array of baked goods on display is mind-boggling. I decided to try the lemon drizzle cake on the recommendation of a very enthusiastic employee, and wow, it was zesty, moist, and absolutely divine! I also picked up a loaf of their homemade focaccia, which has become a new staple in my kitchen. The textures were spot on, and the herby flavours were so fresh. I appreciated the clear effort they put into sourcing high-quality ingredients—definitely a plus in my book! One thing I would suggest is for them to consider introducing a loyalty card system; it would be great to get a little reward for frequent visits. Additionally, although the seating area is cozy, it can feel a bit cramped during peak hours. That said, it’s all part of the charm! I’ve been visiting this delightful bakery for a few months now, and I can confidently say it’s become my go-to spot for all things delicious! The variety of pastries is simply outstanding—my personal favourite has to be the almond croissant; it’s flaky and filled to perfection! I also love their selection of artisan breads; the sourdough has a beautiful crust and a tangy flavour that’s hard to beat. The staff members are always friendly and eager to help, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The only minor downside is that it can get a bit busy on weekends, so I recommend going early if you want to avoid the crowds. But honestly, it’s worth the wait! Each visit has been a treat, and I look forward to trying more of their offerings. If you’re in the area and love baked goods as much as I do, make sure to pop in—you won’t regret it! Highly recommend stopping by and treating yourself to something sweet or savoury. Overall, an excellent bakery that I can’t recommend enough!
